2. Acceptance of General Terms of Use:
Use of this site means that you are above 18 years old and that you possess the legal right and ability to use it in accordance with the terms and conditions set herein. The present terms and conditions apply to all the services presented in our site and provided either directly or through distributors. By accessing, browsing and using our website and/or by proceeding with a reservation, you acknowledge having read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
3. Use of Site:
You may only use the site to make legitimate enquiries or booking and hereby undertakes not to make any speculative, false or fraudulent booking or any booking in anticipation of demand. You also undertake to provide correct and accurate e-mail, postal and/or other contact details to sithontravel.gr and acknowledge that sithontravel.gr may use these details to contact you in the event that this should prove necessary.
4. Making a booking:
Any booking made or request placed by you shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the relevant tour subject to these booking conditions. No contract between you and sithontravel.gr shall come into existence until sithontravel.gr (a) issues a tour voucher (ticket); (b) receives payment in full.
5. Tours:
Through its web site Sithon Travel gives the possibility to book on line a wide range of tours in Sithonia Halkidiki. The description of each tour has been prepared to the best of our knowledge and according to information given by the suppliers we cooperate with, in order to be as correct and reliable as possible. Sithon Travel decline any responsibility in case of not correct information not depending from its will.
6. Rating:
A wide range of tours is presented in our site. Official rating of each tour is shown in the description. Rates include all taxes, maintenance expenses and the use of all the facilities specifies in the description. Sithontravel.gr reserves the right to revise all published prices at any time and for any reason, however no change in price will be made once a booking has been confirmed.
7. Discounts::
- Children up to 6 years: free
- Children 6 - 12 years: discount as shown in the description
8. Transportation & Meeting Point:
Pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is provided on several tours either from/to the hotel or the closest designated meeting point according to the location of the accommodation. This is a shared transportation that includes stops at multiple hotels/meeting points with maximum waiting time 02 mins per stop and if missed, no refund will be applied by Sithon Travel
9. Payments/ Rejection of the Transaction:
Deposit Value refers 100% of the total cost and is required in order to book a tour in our site. Payments can be done either by credit card or via PayPal to our company. Failure to pay or the unauthorized use of your credit card will involve cancellation of your reservation.
10. Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour: no penalty
- Cancellation from 24 hours to non-show at pick-up time, 100% cancellation fees are applied.
- In case of missed transportation of the shuttle service provided, no refund will be applied by Sithon Travel.
- In case of cancellation of a cruise by the shipping company due to bad weather condition or any extraordinary event that prevent from performing the cruise, all reservations will be automatically moved to the next available date or to the suggested alternative cruise itinerary. If neither option is available, a refund will be issued.
- All the tours require a minimum number of participants. If it is canceled because the minimum is not met, you will be offered a different date if available or a full refund.
- Under no circumstances may participants take part to the cruises & excursions under the influence of alcohol, drugs, psychiatric drugs or anything else similar. Participants are obliged to fulfil the terms of participation and agree to strictly follow the instructions of the shipping/ bus company. If the Terms of Participation are not fulfilled or if instructions are disregarded, shipping/bus company reserves the right to prohibit embarkation/transportation and no refund will apply.
11. Alteration or cancellation by you:
If you wish to make any alterations to your tour, we will make every effort to accommodate these. Requests for amendments must be made in writing by the person who booked the ticket.
The cancellation is not refundable if the passenger did not contact by e-mail at least 24 hours before the tour.
12. Alteration or cancellation by us:
In the event of severe weather preventing cruising, damage to the cruise ship or to the tourist- bus, Sithon Travel reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time up to and including the date of the cruise/excursion. Alternative dates will be offered to the passengers. If none is available suitable to both parties, the passenger fee will be refunded in full as the exclusive remedy to the passenger who shall have no further claim for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from the cancellation of the Passenger Agreement (ticket).
13. Special requests:
If you have a special request (e.g. dietary) please confirm your request in writing to avoid any confusion minimum 24 hours prior to the tour.
14. Booking procedure, Confirmation:
For tours without any “REQUEST” sign an instant confirmation is possible. After settling the payment of the deposit value (100% of the total price) you will receive a mail confirming the receipt of your booking shortly.
For tours marked with a “REQUEST” sign, no payment is necessary. After processing your request and If we will be able to confirm your booking you will receive a notification email with the next steps that you need to do and payment instructions in order to confirm the booking.
15. Privacy:
Sithon Travel, herewith, confirms that all personal information provided by its customers will be used only and solely for the purpose of the service(s) booked. This information will be strictly kept confidential. Sithon Travel does not collect or store in any way your credit card details. The payment procedure and the verification of your data through a bank assure the absolute safety of your transaction.
16. Force Majeure:
If as a consequence of Force Majeure, Sithontravel.gr is obliged to curtail, alter or cancel a tour, you shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation. The term "Force Majeure" includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire, riots, acts of war or civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action or any other reason beyond the control of Sithontravel.gr
17.Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions have been construed in accordance to the law of Greece. Any dispute arising directly or indirectly shall be submitted to the competent courts of Thessaloniki, which shall have the exclusive jurisdiction.
